Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Goals Against ("the App"), operated by Goals Against Limited, company number 17272236, registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Goals Against sends push notifications when football teams you have chosen as "rivals" concede goals, have a player sent off, have a goal disallowed, or fail to win. It is entertainment: a light-hearted way to enjoy your rivals' bad days. We do not show live scores, results, real-time match data, or betting information.

The App requires an active paid subscription to receive notifications. Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled. Payment is taken by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their terms; we never see or store your card details. You can cancel at any time through your app store subscription settings — your access continues until the end of the current paid period.

Refunds are handled by the app store you purchased through, under its refund policy. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact support@goalsagainst.com within 14 days and we will help you with the store's process.

You must be 18 or older to use the App. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to access other users' accounts, interfere with the Service, or use the App for any unlawful purpose.

Match data is supplied to us by third-party providers and processed automatically. We work hard to make notifications accurate and fast, and we focus our coverage on competitions where the data is most reliable, but no provider is perfect and no notification is guaranteed. Notifications may be delayed, missed, duplicated, sent in error, or contradicted later by the official record — for example when a goal is disallowed after review, or a match record is corrected after the final whistle. We may withdraw a notification we have already sent.

Goals Against is entertainment. It is not a live-score service, a results service, or a source of factual record. You must not rely on any notification, or on the absence of one, as the truth about a match, and you must never use it as the basis for placing a bet, trading, or taking any financial risk or decision of any kind. If you need to know what happened in a match, check an official source. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on a notification or on its absence.

Our notifications and shareable cards are made to be enjoyed and shared in a joyful, light-hearted way with friends and fellow fans. You agree to use and share them only in that spirit. You must not use any notification, card, message or other content from the App to bully, harass, intimidate or humiliate any person, to inflict emotional distress, to incite or fuel hatred, discrimination or violence, or in any other way that is hostile, abusive or unlawful.

We take misuse seriously. We may suspend or close the account of anyone who breaches this section. Where we reasonably believe that conduct involving our content may be criminal, or may cause serious harm to any person, we may share the relevant account details and records with the police, regulators or other competent authorities, and we will co-operate fully with any lawful request or investigation. This is in addition to any other action available to us in law.

The notifications, cards, messages, artwork, wording, name and brand of Goals Against are our intellectual property. You may share our notifications and cards as the App provides them. You must not alter, edit, doctor, re-word, re-brand, crop, overlay, combine with other material, or otherwise modify any notification, card or message from the App, and you must not create imitations of them or present anything as a Goals Against notification that is not one.

Each shareable card carries a unique reference that identifies the notification it came from. We record these references and reserve the right to use them, together with our other records, to trace the source of any altered, imitation or misused content. Where an alteration or imitation causes harm to our brand, reputation or business, we reserve the right to recover from the person responsible the full financial loss and costs caused, and to take any other action available to us in law.

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the App is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on a notification as described in section 6.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, including sections 7 and 8. You may delete your account at any time in the App (Settings → Subscription & account → Delete account) or by emailing support@goalsagainst.com.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
