FAQ
Which teams can I pick as rivals?
Any of the 1,250+ clubs and national teams in the app — including women's teams. Search by name or nickname.
When exactly do you send a notification?
When a rival concedes a goal, has a player dismissed, is knocked out of a competition, or finishes a match without winning. We aim for one notification per real event, and if VAR is checking we hold on while the decision is made.
Why didn't I get a notification?
Three usual reasons: your quiet hours were on (everything still lands on your Home screen, and you get one catch-up nudge when they end); notifications are switched off for the app in your phone's settings; or the match was in a competition we don't yet cover.
We [mostly] hate VAR too
A video review can overturn a goal or a red card minutes after the whole ground celebrated it. Our engine deliberately waits out most reviews before saying anything, so this is rare. Very long reviews (VAR reviews of more than 2.5 mins) can be our kryptonite — so if that happens... sorry, our systems failed you. If a decision is reversed after we have told you, we remove that notification from your Home screen straight away, and where your phone allows it we quietly take back the banner too. We would rather correct ourselves honestly than leave you celebrating something that did not stand.
What are the notification styles?
Factual, Cheeky, and Cheekier — or Random for a different style every time. Change any time in Settings. As we grow we hope to expand this selection.
How much does it cost?
Three tiers — £0.75, £0.90 or £1.25 a week, charged monthly through your app store. Every tier is the full product; the higher tiers simply support the app a little more. Prices show in your local currency.
How many devices can I use?
Two per account — your phone and your tablet.
Do you show adverts or betting odds?
Never.
Which competitions do you cover?
We currently cover 111 competitions worldwide — leagues, cups, European and international tournaments, men’s and women’s.
Are domestic cups covered?
Cup competitions typically gain live coverage as the rounds progress — early rounds often have post-match data only, with full live coverage arriving for the later stages. We confirm coverage match by match before kick-off.

Typically live from: Coupe de France (Round of 64), Scottish Cup (Round of 32), KNVB Beker (Round of 32), Greek Cup (Round of 16), Polish Cup (Round of 16), Danish Cup (Round of 16), Croatian Cup (Round of 16), Serbian Cup (Round of 16), Ukrainian Cup (Round of 16), Taça de Portugal (Round of 32), Throne Cup (Semi-Finals) — a guide from our data supplier; the exact round can vary season to season.
Gaining coverage in later rounds — we announce each round as it is confirmed: Svenska Cupen.
Not covered yet: Women's Africa Cup of Nations — we are monitoring data quality for the next edition.
